The onboarding process can actually begin already as the employment contract is signed, and in this way your newly hired talent will feel both prepared and looked after even long before the first working day. 

A modern onboarding solution prepares your new colleague for a career with your organization, including answering all the questions he or she is wondering about; when and where should I show up? If so, do I get a sponsor, and who will that be? Whom can I ask practical questions? Where can I pick up my computer and do I get a new mobile phone? Do I have to buy this myself and get a reimbursement, or will I be provided with one once start working? And what about this sim card? In addition, you can plan for the first working day by setting up meetings, recommending which people your new colleague should talk to, and ordering all relevant equipment. Give your new colleague access to attend various courses, and to be able to read up on what you think is necessary to get the best start possible.
