My name is Siri Jensen, I am 28 years old and work as SuccessFactors consultant and Sariba . Exactly one year ago, I went straight from school to the dream job, in a well-established consulting house . I was excited about what everyday work would offer, my gut feeling was good, and the experiences of being employed in Sariba have certainly lived up to expectations.
My life as SuccessFactors consultant
Before the first day of work, I was very excited about what the role was SuccessFactors consultant would contain. I knew a lot, but much was still unknown. I was introduced to SuccessFactors already the first day and I must say that it was incredibly exciting!
Before I went to school, I had worked for 10 years in an industry where many different systems were used to follow up HR tasks. Word was used for both appraisals and procedural follow-up, and when I was introduced to SuccessFactors and learned that there was a system that takes care of all HR processes, it was almost too good to be true. Could there really be a system that handles it all? As it turned out, there could!
SuccessFactors is a cloud-based HR system that covers all relevant HR processes. It is incredibly flexible and can almost be "designed" according to customer needs. In addition, it is modular. This means that you can choose whether you want to use one part of the solution, several parts or all of it. In other words, it can be adapted to your needs, and it is very flexible.
Next step
After getting an introduction to the system, I was able to join my new colleagues out to customers. There I was able to participate in workshops and see how one goes about designing a customer's version SuccessFactors using workbooks. After this, I got to use my study techniques. Now it was my turn for my own certification . There was a lot to be read, understood and memorized before a comprehensive exam had to be carried out. Fortunately, it went well, and I am now certified in the module Performance & Goals (goals and employee interview) .
After the certification was in the box, I am now in full swing with customers. My workday is about helping customers set up the system, and when the system is ready it is duet for training. I also assist customers when testing the system, and when the system is put into production, I ampart of Sariba's support department, where I both make technical changes and guide customers if they are stuck. Every day offers new, exciting tasks to solve, and no two days are the same.
Which SuccessFactors consultant I work at the intersection of technology and people . I love to be able to use all my personal qualities and to be able to help streamline our customers' systems and processes, this gives me great pleasure.
