Customer Success Manager in our Customer Excellence department

In our customer quality center, Sariba Customer Excellence, there is a lot of activity, and we are therefore looking for people who love building relationships with customers. We are looking for you who thrive best when you are in full control, who like to get things done and who have good knowledge of one or more of the HR solutions of SAP, either onprem or in SuccessFactors.

What is Sariba Customer Excellence?

In Sariba, we always have the customer in focus, and we work according to the principle «customer for life». This means that when our project department has delivered sparkling solutions, we at Customer Excellence are ready to accept both the customer and the customer's solution for further maintenance and further development. Our most important task is to ensure that our customers' solutions are up-to-date, and as good as they can be.

What does a CSM do?

A Customer Success Manager in Sariba has a central, rich and important role in our Customer Excellence department. As a CSM, your job is to be your customers' professional advisor. You must therefore keep abreast of changes that are happening, both those coming from the authorities, but also those coming from SAP. With this as a backdrop, you provide your customers with advice and guidance on the way forward. In addition, our CSMs have enough technical expertise to be able to make changes to at least one module in either SAP HR or SAP SuccessFactors . It is therefore important that they are comfortable with the intersection between the professional and the technical.

We can honestly say that SCM is a really exciting role to have. To back up this statement, we asked our talented colleague, Nora, what she likes most about being a CSM at Sariba. Below you can see her answer:

  1. I get to build close relationships with my customers
  2. As CSM, I get to help develop Customer Excellence; what should our department be for our customers today and in the future?
  3. I get to work with, and learn, a lot of different things. I have to get acquainted with and understand the customers' solutions, and I think this is really exciting!
  4. An important part of the job is to keep up with innovation and news. This makes the job educational and very interesting!
  5. As CSM, I have the pleasure of working with (almost) everyone at Sariba

To be even more specific, these are some of the tasks you will have as a CSM in Sariba

  • You will be a professional advisor to your clients
  • You will lead customer meetings for your customers, including annual status meetings
  • You initiate and follow up improvement projects for your customers
  • You see your customers' needs up against Sariba's product portfolio
  • You handle support cases via SAP CRM's service tool
  • You process and complete change requests from customers
  • You process and correct error messages from customers
  • Documentation of work performed is a matter of course
  • Follow-up and approval of hours conducted against your customers
  • Hourly reporting to customers
  • You will help to further develop processes in Customer Excellence
  • You will lead internal customer teams
  • You will also participate in / lead projects
