Successful HR Innovation Day

news hr inno 31may

This year Sariba has actively participated in the SBN HR Innoteam, and at HR Innovation Day at the end of May over 80 participants from Oslo and Stavanger participated.

At the seminar, Sariba focused specifically on employee experience and new privacy law that takes effect on May 25, 2018. Here Bernhard Rikardsen and Marit Søderberg were important contributors – a big thank you to them.

The presentation on the new data protection law and the panel discussion on how the changes in Europe's regulatory framework should be interpreted, addressed from a HR perspective and how the system can support it engaged a large number of participants.

Many businesses see the new regulations through three different lenses: Legal, HR and systemic. These angles should be seen in context by addressing:

  • Attitudes: Raise awareness of everyone, train and follow up managers and involved employees
  • Regulations: Know the principles of the legislation and have an overview of your own collection and use of personal data
  • Processes: Develop and modify routines and procedures that ensure compliance with the rules on an ongoing basis
  • Systems: Mapping systems, identifying affected parts internally and externally, specifying measures
