The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority's regulations on the performance of work require employers to register employees who are or may be exposed to carcinogenic or genetically harmful chemicals, lead, asbestos fibers, biological factors or ionizing radiation. Based on the regulations, Sariba has developed the Exposure Register in SAP , which simplifies the registration of exposed workers.
Employees listed in the register must be made aware of this and have access to their own information. Information in the register that applies to everyone (not of a personal nature) shall be made known to the employees. The register shall be available to safety and health personnel, safety delegates, members of the working environment committee, other persons with HSE tasks at work and the Labour Inspection Authority.
Sariba's solution is based on already existing data in SAP . In addition, a new infotype is created with the ability to register the necessary information. The solution satisfies requirements from the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority and at the same time safeguards the interests of the employees.
