two people take each other by the hand

In August, Bjarne Østgaard came on board Sariba. Although he is the latest shot at the Sariba tribe, he has more than 20 years of experience SAP , especially in HCM / ABAP. He started his career as a system developer, and has experience from most of the modules in SAP HCM.

In the Norwegian market, Bjarne has had several different roles with well-known customers such as SAS, ISS, NorgesGruppen, Odfjell, DFØ, Statkraft.

Bjarne is a very cheerful and sociable guy who likes to have a chat. Here you get the pleasure of getting to know him better through our little interview about skills, hobbies and the new everyday life in Sariba.

Who are you?

I am a positive and harmonious man of 55 years with adult children. Has also managed to become a grandfather! I grew up in Bærum where I still live. Spends a lot of my free time with friends and family, and loves to retreat to the cabin on the mountain. Although I am no longer so fond of exercising, I have a great interest in hunting.

What is the best thing about the job in Sariba?

For the past 11 years, my working day has been characterized by the fact that I have worked a lot alone. Now I am really looking forward to being allowed to work more in teams, and have the opportunity to learn new things from my colleagues, while I can contribute to the competence of others.

What motivates you?

I am a harmonious person who works for things to work. If something does not work, everyday life becomes unbalanced, and I want to work hard to create balance again. I am also very motivated by other colleagues, that everyone is different and can contribute in different areas.

What can you contribute to a project?

Personally, I believe that I can contribute as I am seeking harmony and will always make things work. Professionally, I have long and broad experience in various areas, customers and projects that I can take with me into my new role.
