May is coming to an end and we at Sariba have been attending two different events this month to get the latest news about HR. On May 15, we participated in SBN's HRday, which took place both in Stavanger and Oslo. On May 23rd we participated in the HR conference 600 minutes for HR, at Scandic Hotell Fornebu.
Latest news in HR
SBN's HR day was organized as a parallel conference, with participants in both Oslo and Stavanger. The participants in Oslo had the pleasure of spending the day in the brand new Orkla House at Skøyen. In Stavanger, Cognizant generously opened their doors to the conference participants.
HR-The day consisted of a number of exciting topics. As the main sponsor of the event, Sariba, represented by Marita Johansen, kicked off the day. Marita talked about what we at Sariba work with, and why we are the right partner for you when choosing a supplier of either SAP Onprem or SAP SuccessFactors .
Furthermore, today's hosts, at Ole Jan Friestad and Morten Kristiansen from Cognizant and Orkla respectively, presented their companies. In this way, we got to know our hosts a little better.
Both Aker BP and Aibel have implemented SuccessFactors and they took us through their implementation journeys. It was both useful and instructive to hear how they had proceeded to reach the goal of introducing SuccessFactors . They shared their experiences from the projects , and talked about the benefits SAP SuccessFactors has given .
Those of us who attended this HR day also heard the latest news from SAP. This was presented by Knut Moltubakk from ISS and Bjarne Østgaard from Sariba. Knut and Bjarne had recently attended the "Meet the Expert" conferenceat SAP inWaldorf, and were happy to share their newly acquired knowledge.
Marit Andersen from SAP Norway shared the latest news about SAP and Norway. In this session, many good and relevant questions were asked. In addition, we had the pleasure of learning more about Digital Enterprise and the opportunities this creates for HR.
The day ended with a workshop where we discussed what opportunities digitalization can bring to the HR profession. The discussions covered several aspects related to the topic. We discussed how digitalization can simplify and improve the work of HR and what it takes to make use of the opportunities. It was also discussed why HR has not taken advantage of the opportunities available.
Meeting place for HR
Our forward-thinking colleagues, Steinar Sabbasen and Håvard Aspenes, attended the 600 minutes for HR conference. This conference is described as a meeting place for HR managers and suppliers. At the conference, several large companies shared their experiences in improving HR and digitizing HR processes. An important aspect of this conference is networking and meetings, and good dialogues about opportunities and needs are reported.
We at Sariba had the opportunity to present our certified solution for HR, Sariba People Centric. We also had the opportunity to show our new video, which briefly summarizes the benefits you can get by using our package solution.
