Are you one of the many people who have used the Employee Central and Recruiting modules in SAP SuccessFactors ? Or are you still wondering if this is the solution for you? Whichever of these categories you find yourself in, we think it would be good for you to know that these two modules are not only fantastic on their own, but also offer great synergies when used together.

Create the job requisition right from the organization chart

When you use SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and at the same time have Employee Central implemented, you will easily be able to reap great benefits by integrating the two modules. Among other things, this will allow you to create the job requisition directly from the position in the job tree. This way, the job requisition will "inherit" relevant information related to the position, and you know that the information is both updated and correct.

Get information from Employee Central

In the Employee Central module, you will find an overview of all the information for the various positions, and it is this information that is included in the job requisition. Typical information that is relevant to transfer to the job requisition is:
- Position and organizational data
- Recruiting manager
- Senior manager 1:1
- Recruiter for the department
- HR- contact for the department

Copy information to SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

All positions can be defined with a job profile, and this can also be easily copied from Employee Central to Recruiting. Typical information that is registered in a job profile is:
- Job title
- Job description
- Skill requirements
- Competency requirements
- Certification requirements
- Education and training

When you work in this way, you will save a lot of time with each new recruitment activity, while at the same time helping to ensure that the different calls for proposals are consistent in terms of how they are presented to job seekers.

In addition, you ensure data quality related to the job requisition. This is particularly important for those who also use the Onboarding module. The reason for this is that data from the job requisition and the application of those being hired must be transferred both to the Onboarding module and to Employee Central, where it will form the basis for the creation of a new employee.
