Network meeting
For several years, Sariba has organized network meetings for SAP HR and SuccessFactors users in the Stavanger region. The reason for the network meetings is to create an arena for knowledge sharing and networking for those who work with SAP HR and SuccessFactors in the same region. Time is set aside to discuss issues and challenges that arise in a busy working day. In addition, experiences, tips and good advice are shared. Every year, Sariba brings some of its leading experts to the event, so that we can also contribute our professional expertise and presence to the discussions. The agenda varies from time to time, but the program is that we at Sariba inform about the latest news from SAP, as well as about what is happening with us. Time is also set aside for both mingling and exchange of experience, all this over a good and pleasant breakfast.
SAP HR and SuccessFactors in Stavanger
The last network meeting of the year took place on 28 November. The participants who attended heard our experienced colleague, Tor Flugsrud, talk about news and changes in SAP payroll . Tor gave those present a status on upcoming changes to the sickness reimbursement solution. He also talked about the effects the municipal merger will have SAP . In addition, Tor talked about, among other things, how we have to deal with birth numbers with different dates, and he gave the participants the latest news about both the a-notice and support packages at the end of the year.
Since the last network meeting, Sariba has had the pleasure of hiring several new consultants, both in Stavanger, Oslo, Spain and Sweden. Those present at the network meeting were able to greet our two new Stavanger-based colleagues, Elena and May Lise. Our colleague Marita Johansen gave the participants the latest news from Sariba , before she talked about the latest news from SAP that deals with payroll in the cloud.
payroll in the cloud for Norway
As many of you know, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Cenral Payroll for Norway was launched this November. This means that it is now possible to run payroll in the cloud in SuccessFactors. This is good news both for those who have SAP HR Onprem and those who are considering SuccessFactors as their HR system. With this as a backdrop, Marita presented what SAP itself believes are the top 10 reasons for using this solution, before she went through how this will both look and can be done in practice. This part was concluded with a demo of Payroll controll Center.
